Tap the downloaded file and choose Open with Minecraft.

Download the file with Safari.
Open the Files app and tap the file.
Tap Share and choose Minecraft.
Windows
Double-click the downloaded file.
Minecraft opens and imports it by itself.
Phone asked you to find an app on the Play Store?
That happens on some phones, like Samsung Galaxy. Install the free File Manager+ app, open the RandomMaze.mcpack file with it and choose Minecraft.
Another way (any device)
Open Minecraft.
Go to Settings → Storage → Import.
Choose the file RandomMaze.mcpack.
It worked when you see Import successful. The pack is in Settings → Storage → My Packs (not in “Global Resources”, which is only for textures).

Set up
Turn it on in your world
Turn on the pack and cheats in the world where you want to play. A new world or one you already have.
In your worlds list, tap the pencil (Edit) next to a world, or tap Create New.
On the left menu, open Behavior Packs → Available.
Tap Random Maze and then Activate.
Go back to Game and turn on Activate Cheats.
Join the world. After a few seconds the chat says: [Random Maze] script loaded.
Tip: a Flat world is the best place for mazes, because nothing gets in the way. No experiments needed. Turning on cheats turns off achievements in that world; that is a Minecraft rule, not something from the pack.

How to play
Stand in the middle of where you want the maze and type this in the chat:

Game rules
You start in front of the entrance (emerald floor). The timer starts when you walk in.
Mossy cobblestone walls are secret doors: step on the plate next to one to open it for 8 seconds.
Watch your step: there are 10 invisible traps.
Every 90 seconds, two doors change by themselves.
Reach the redstone floor to escape. Everyone sees your time in the chat.

My phone doesn't recognize the file and asks for an app on the Play Store
Install the free File Manager+ app and open the file with it, choosing Minecraft. Or, inside Minecraft, go to Settings → Storage → Import.
I can't find the pack in “Global Resources”
That's normal: behavior packs live in “My Packs” and are turned on inside each world (Edit world → Behavior Packs).
The command says I don't have permission
Turn on cheats in the world settings (Game → Activate Cheats).
Nothing happens when I use the command
Type /scriptevent maze:test. If nothing answers, the pack is not turned on in this world.
The mossy door doesn't open
The pressure plate is right next to the door. Step right on top of it.
The maze erased my build!
The command clears the area around you. Always use it far from your builds.
Do my friends need to install it?
No. Only the person who hosts the world.
Can I use it in videos and streams?
Yes! We just ask you to put the link to this page in your description. You may not sell it or re-upload the file to other sites.
